Our History

The Baldwin County Home Builders Association was chartered in 1973. The founders started the Association by forming a committee to better the community and support businesses related to the building industry.

The Association provides its members services in the areas of advocacy, professional development, and education that affect the local business community.  Also serving as the voice for business-related information, peer-to-peer networking opportunities and making regional level connections to benefit businesses in our area.

What We do

The Baldwin County Home Builders Association is a professional trade association located in Fairhope, Alabama. The Association serves our local homebuilders, developers, remodelers, suppliers and service providers in many ways, keeping them informed of critical issues facing the building industry and providing education opportunities is an important part of its purpose. Our goal is to provide and expand the opportunity for all consumers to have safe, well-built and affordable housing throughout Baldwin County, Alabama.

The association is currently 900+ members strong with 22,466 member employees. Membership in the BCHBA also includes membership in the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and Home Builders Association of Alabama (HBAA).ber executives and staff, and members of business and community organizations that have a combined goal of serving the business community.
